Austin Waldorf School Performing Arts Center

The 620 Dance Centre presents an annual performance in May for all students.  A costumed recital is presented every other year.  Tuition must be current, and rehearsals prior to the performance are mandatory.

Dana Nunn, Owner and Director
Instructor-Children's Work, Tap, Jazz

Mrs. Nunn has instructed preschool through advanced classes in the Central Texas area since 1976.  She studied ballet at the University of Texas at Austin and attended classes at the Tremaine Academy and 3rd Street Academy in Los Angeles.  While touring with Austin’s own professional tap company, Austin On Tap, in 1988, Mrs. Nunn helped conduct lecture demonstrations and master classes throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.  After the opening of the 620 Dance Centre in the fall of 1985,  she was selected by the Lake Travis ISD to launch its elementary and middle school dance programs in 1986.  She also has served as the choreographer for the Jazz Ensemble of the UT Dance Team,  jazz instructor for the Austin Community School program, and in 1985 became a charter member of the Fred Astaire Performing Arts Association.

Our Studio

Celebrating 25 years of educating dancers in the Lake Travis area, the 620 Dance Centre was established in the fall of 1985.  The 3,000 square foot facility includes two 1,000 square foot dance rooms with state-of-the-art Harlequin dance floors.  The waiting area offers viewing windows into each studio, and wireless Internet service is available.
